As you may have noticed already, our corsets are sold in STANDARD SIZES and CUSTOM SIZES. Standard size is for the regular customer with no special requirements, for the more demanding tight-lacer, plus size, BBW, or TV client, with special demands regarding sizing, we recommend a custom size corset made according to your exact measurements.
The waist size of the corset refers to the REDUCED waist measurement, in inches.
Please pick a size that is 3-4" ( 7,5-10 cm ) below your NATURAL waist measurement, (except for Unisex Corset and Elizabethan Corset where the waist reduction is less, see order page).
If your waist measurement is "between" sizes, we recommend that you choose the next size down; a very tight corset can always be loosened a little in the lacing, while a corset that is too big can not be adjusted that easily.
Note that corsets made from leather might strech a up to 1" (2.5cm) when worn a lot.

We have decided to mainly use the inch scale, as this is the customary way of sizing corsets, even though this might be a bit confusing to those of you who are used to the metric system. We apologise for any inconvenience.
